War Memorial Nashville Engagement Photos
I have to say that this was probably one of our most fun engagement sessions to date…. and that’s mostly because these two are hilarious. Kelly is outspoken and funny and honest and is such a blast. Brett teases her and and smiles over at her as she’s cracking jokes and they just really, totally work together. I’m so so happy with their War Memorial Nashville engagement photos…. and Kelly’s DRESS! Oh my goodness!
Kelly and Brett met the old fashioned way: at a bar. (Specifically, they met at a bar on Music Row which feels like the MOST perfect way for a Nashville couple to meet.) At the time, their jobs had moved them around quite a bit and neither one was really sure how long they’d be in the Nashville area, but they met each other… and knew they had to stay nearby. They recently moved to Cincinnati, bought a house together, and got engaged and we’re SO excited for their wedding at Graystone Quarry next year!
One of my favorite spots for engagement photos in Nashville is the War Memorial. You seriously can’t beat the gorgeous neutral background… the epic stairs and columns and fountains and marble, and of course the view of the state capital building! (You even get some classic Southern greenery with some gorgeous magnolia trees lining each side of the main staircase… I wish the magnolias in our yard looked this good!). We ended our session in a way that perfectly celebrates these two and their Nashville love story… on the pedestrian bridge!
