Stone House at Arrington Vineyards Wedding Photos:

I’ll just say it – all of our clients are amazing and going to each of their weddings never gets old. You wake up on each of their wedding days, and you feel such an intense excitement – it’s so easy to put yourself in their shoes and go “wow, this is a really, really big day. It’s finally here.” When we pulled into the Stone House at Arrington Vineyards for Ashley + Shawn’s wedding, that’s exactly how it felt. You walk through the planning process with couples – meet them at the very beginning of wedding planning, and slowly watch them make decisions and plan their day and grow together, and then you watch it all come to fruition on their wedding day. And it’s pretty incredible.
But if I’m being honest, I think we felt that way even more than usual at this wedding because it’s just so easy to like Ashley + Shawn. It’s so easy to have fun around them. To just get along with them. And knowing that they would be having their wedding in the place where they fell in love – that was really exciting to us. Ashley + Shawn are both from Illinois, but this is the place that they’ve built their life together. Where they’ve truly learned how to love each another. Lived with one another. Started that process of becoming one. And on their wedding day at Arrington, their mutual respect for each other was so palpable. There’s something so powerful about respecting and appreciating your spouse’s specific talents and skills… And these two really seem to do that. They know they’re so alike in so many ways, but who they are as people is so perfectly complementary and different. They look at each other like they won the lottery. Like they can’t believe they found someone so specifically perfect for them to do life with. They’re in love. Like really, really in love.
Ashley + Shawn’s day at the Stone House at Arrington Vineyards also happened to be insanely stunning. The entire aesthetic, the entire look, the feel… Everything was just perfect and so cohesive. And when you’re at the Stone House at Arrington, you truly feel like you’re in someone’s backyard. (Granted, a really, really nice backyard overlooking a stunning vineyard behind a really, really nice house, that is… But a cozy backyard vibe nonetheless.) The bridal suite at the Stone House at Arrington is absolutely stunning, and there’s a cool attic space with some crazy directional window light (where the guys buttoned up) and a gorgeous kitchen. There’s even a wraparound porch with rocking chairs covered by a pergola… I seriously would love to live there. Ashley rocked a satin gown and her girls wore pale green dresses from Two Birds Bridesmaids. The guys wore gray suits and pocket squares. And the florals… Oh my goodness. Owsley Designs just absolutely killed it. Ranunculus and peonies in burgundy and blush and white, greenery everywhere… This wedding was just a total dream to shoot. And of course, it didn’t hurt that we just love Ashley + Shawn (and pretty much have since we met them). We love getting to witness their love and their giddiness at starting a life as one. Their friends and family are an absolute blast. And watching so many friends and family members come together for a destination wedding in Tennessee really shows how loved these two are. What great families they come from. They’re kind, loving, and giving people. And we think they make a beautiful pair.
