Darcie + Jacob’s wedding was one of our favorite wedding days of the year, and honestly these are some of my favorite images ever. The light, the colors, the venue, the suit, the dress, THE HAIR (because don’t they both have just the best hair?? Jacob actually used to have a man bun and if he still did GUYS WE WOULD’VE BEEN TWINS). We love these two for their hearts and their belief in marriage. To put it in Darcie’s words: “Our wedding day had this amazing feeling of love, like a giant veil covering us and everyone involved. We attribute this to God and the fact that our community knew our story and were truly happy to celebrate with us in what God had done in our lives. All the details came together, it felt calm and peaceful, and it just felt like everyone was truly present in the moment. I’ve never felt so provided for in my life. The best was walking into the tent for the reception and receiving a standing ovation with yells of joy. It brings tears to my eyes to remember how happy our loved ones were for us.”
