Nashville Engagement Session Locations

As Nashville wedding photographers, we shoot a lot of engagement sessions throughout the Nashville area, and we love having a great list of spots to recommend to our couples! I’m definitely not one of those photographers who keeps her Nashville engagement session locations a secret, so I figured it’s about time we share them with you guys here!

War Memorial Auditorium

Urban and chic, but super timeless. I love the architecture, I love the light, and I love that “minimalist” feel! One portion of the War Memorial is even lined with magnolia trees so you still get some “greenery” even though you’re in the city! I also think couples really pop in this location, because everything is so bright and white and neutral here.

Cheekwood

There is a fee to shoot here, but if you’re willing to spend that extra money, it’s so worth it. In the Nashville area, you truly can’t beat Cheekwood for a session with a historic garden feel!

Arrington Vineyards

So stunning and tons of options here – vines, rolling hills, open space, wooded space, tree swings, etc. etc. I typically shoot here on weekdays to avoid the crowds, and with a bit of walking and exploring you can usually find a quiet spot!

Radnor Lake

The lake is stunning, and there are bridges, stairs, and cool little nooks and crannies along the trails. This is also one of my favorite dog friendly engagement session locations! Dogs aren’t allowed on the trails, but they are allowed on the main road and the gravel road by the lake, which are spaces I love to take advantage of anyway!

A place you already love!

If you have a location already in mind that is meaningful to you (maybe it’s where you had a fun date, where you got engaged, where you go on hikes together, etc.), have your session there if you can. Why? Because it’ll just make your engagement images that much more meaningful if they’re in a space you already cherish. Maybe it’s a bar, a coffee shop, a park… Wherever it is, let’s try to shoot there if we can!!
