Can you describe your photographic style?

Every time I pick up my camera, I strive to create photographs that are genuine, organic, honest, and timeless. I got my start in photography shooting on film, so I try to emulate the romance of film in my work with images that are bright and clean, with very natural color correction. I try to create images that you will love and cherish years from now, rather than shooting the “trendy” stuff.

Mixed in with those classic shots, I love moody, photojournalistic, black and white images. So when it comes to photographing the in-between moments, a striking black and white image is my favorite way to go! These types of images are natural in a totally different way, and I love that!

And I like to make sure my subjects look natural, too! I really hate the word pose… I would rather have you hold each other in a way that feels comfortable, rather than show you a pose that I’m thinking of. I’ll never come up to you to show you exactly where to put your hands, how to stand, or how to look at each other. I guide my couples from behind my camera, so I can capture a position that’s natural for you!



Where are you based out of?

I primarily photograph weddings in the Chattanooga and Nashville areas.


Do you travel?

Absolutely! I’ve photographed weddings in many states, and shoot several travel weddings per year. The first 200 miles (round trip) of travel are free! Contact me for more information on travel and destination weddings.


Do you have insurance?

Yes! I carry liability insurance on my business, and insurance on all of my gear. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, just let me know.


Do you work with a consistent second shooter?

I do, and he happens to be my husband Tyler! We are a husband and wife team, and we shoot every single wedding together. To learn more about us, click here!


What kind of equipment do you use?

Tyler and I shoot on Canon professional camera bodies, and use a mixture of L series Canon lenses and Sigma lenses.


Do you have backup equipment?

Yes. We always keep backup camera bodies, lenses, batteries, and cards with us so we’re ready at a moment’s notice!


Do you have experience shooting in dark venues?

HECK yes! We are very comfortable with using on and off camera flash so no matter what the light is like at your wedding, we can shoot it.


How do we book?

First, Tyler and I would LOVE to take you and your fiancé out for coffee! Or, if you live far away, we can at least hold coffee cups together over Skype ;) We want to get to know you, hear more about your story, and see if we’re the right fit for you! After that, all that’s required to book is a signed contract and a 25% retainer.  Contact me for more information!


How long until I get to see my photos?

For engagement sessions, editing usually takes 2-3 weeks. For weddings, 4-6 weeks… Usually sooner!


How much do prints and albums cost?

This is one of my FAVORITE questions! I’m extremely passionate about the printed photograph, so since I started my business, it has always been very important for me to give my clients access to the very best printing technologies available today. Can I alter a package?

Absolutely. Please contact me if you’re interested in creating a custom package!
