From the minute we met Kelly + Brett, we knew their wedding would be a blast. They never take themselves too seriously, tease each other, laugh easily, and went out of their way to plan a fun, sweet day surrounded by the people they love most. As Covid took hold and they began to adjust their wedding plans, Kelly + Brett never missed a beat. They adjusted their ceremony plans (super thankful the Graystone Quarry has so many Covid friendly ceremony spaces!), moved their reception outdoors, and still got to party with some of their close friends and family! We seriously love these two, and absolutely loved their wedding day.
I have to say… photographing so many smaller weddings this summer because of Covid has been such a sweet change of pace. Photographing weddings is always an honor, but it somehow seems just a little more magical to be one of fewer witnesses at the beginning of a couple’s new life together! Fewer distractions, fewer “to-dos,” the ability to splurge on the things you love and care about and plan a day that celebrates who you truly are as a couple… intimate weddings are such a perfect option for so many couples right now, and it’s so, so cool to be a part of such joyful days in the midst of something like a pandemic.
