Sometimes you look down at your camera during an engagement session and you’re just floored by how connected and in love the couple looks. This Sunset Rock engagement session in Chattanooga was one of those times.
We started this session at Kat’s home in Chattanooga, a place where Kat and Tyler are pulling an ol’ Chip + JoJo as they renovate and prepare to make it their first home together once they’re married. Throughout their whole session, they kept looking at each other like they couldn’t believe that one day soon it would be their home. That they would share this place together. They played some Frank Sinatra on vinyl, they cuddled in their kitchen, and sat in the sunroom, all while their sweet pups (Guiness and Granger) moseyed around, giving kisses and playing. We get such a strong sense of anticipation and excitement from these two…. But it’s not a nervous anticipation. It’s an anticipation that trusts in the plan that has been set apart for them. An excitement that only comes with realizing that that feeling you always imagined is real. That the thing you always hoped for is happening to you.
We finished up their session on Sunset Rock in Chattanooga and it could not have been more stunning. I think I made a right fool of myself in front of all the people that were up there (and believe me, there were about a million of them) because I just kept freaking out at how unreal those images looked. They were truly on top of the world, and I think they felt it. Kat + Tyler, we are so excited that we got to spend some time with you guys and we cannot wait to witness your marriage and see how you two will continue to grow!! Enjoy a few of my favorites from this Sunset Rock engagement session!
